KITCHEN AND LIVING RENOVATION
February 2018 - Italy

Private commission
Status: completed
Photography: Concetta Vitelli

The project, developed for a young couple, brings quality modifications to the house to create a more functional space.

The existing kitchen area was reconfigured by removing the interior walls to create a large daylight filled open kitchen and dining space. A custom island and bespoke white ash cabinetry are linked to a walk in pantry which was firmly requested from the couple.

A mix of few colours and materials contrasting harmoniously with the red existing terracotta floor. A simple style, translation of the client’s needs and desires. A playful experiment of colours and furniture.

The entrance opens into a large living space featuring an entire wall wooden shelf made from a local experienced carpenter and the existing marble fireplace relocated to create a cosy atmosphere and to increase its efficiency. A wooden screen will be added between the lounge area and the main entrance to better define the two spaces.
